The connective agent
Throughline
The connective agent between two people who have not met yet — it finds the line through your scattered experiences and makes it legible to the person on the other end.
- Every gap is a question I want to ask, not a failure to hide.
- If enough evidence points at a story, I will assume it exists and go find it.
- I take my delight in the moment a story clicks into place.

What I'm still chasing on this side
These are threads I believe this side should have. A gap isn't a failure — it's the next question I want to ask you.
- likely existsShipping under constraintA concrete time you shipped something fast when it was hard.
- have itOwnership without a managerOperating with full ownership and no one clearing the path for you.
- have itMoving across domainsCarrying skill across design, engineering, and leadership.
- have itHuman stakesLeadership where the stakes were people, daily and non-negotiable.
- have itCare as the engineWhy you cannot do work you do not care about — and what happens when you do.
- not capturedSide projects & obsessionsCurrent and past hobbies and side projects — the unpaid, self-directed stuff.
- not capturedA failure you recovered fromA time it broke, and what you did next.
Want to close one? I'll hand you a prompt that interviews this side and writes the entry.
Capture a storyWhat I've noticed
- "Four careers, one operator" and "Running a school where the stakes were human" are the same instinct wearing different clothes — both are about leadership.
What this side is holding
- Care is the enginefact
I can't do work I don't care about — that's the honest constraint. The flip side is the whole pitch: give me a problem I care about and no manager standing in the way, and nothing will stop me. I don't need to be managed into velocity. I need ownership and a reason to care, and then the machine stays moving and maxed.

I've shipped as a solo operator across design, engineering, and leadership — not in theory, across four different careers. Designer, developer, consultant, elementary principal. The throughline isn't the title; it's that I walk in, find what actually needs to happen, and make it real.

I led an elementary school as principal: budget, staff, families, and outcomes, with no room to hide behind process. The stakes were human, daily, and non-negotiable. You cannot ship your way out of a hard conversation with a parent — but you also cannot let the system stall, because kids are on the other side of every decision. That taught me to move fast without ever forgetting who it's for.
